The rising demand for one-stop solution software in the #medical industry is expected to drive the market. The flexibility and interoperability of such software is expected to power the market during the forecast period. However, the lack of skilled labor is expected to hinder market growth. The long-term care and nursing home information system market is segmented based on application, deployment model, end user and geographic location. Through the application, the market is divided into clinical and non-clinical software. Through the deployment model, the market is subdivided into cloud and on-premise. End users divide the market into nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, hospice care centers and home/supporting living facilities. On a geographical basis, the market is divided into North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and LAMEA.

Progress in placing nurses on boards
Information regarding nursing’s value on boards and how by #education, background and experience they can contribute to them has been promulgated at programs and in seminars and has been filling the nursing literature since the Nurses on Boards Coalition was formed. The coalition reported a total of nearly 5,000 nurses on boards earlier this year, a number which has continued to grow in the months since.
There also has been a good deal of involvement from many professional nursing organizations, and with a goal of 10,000 nurses on boards by 2020 and the current number showing approximately half of that, we’re doing pretty good.
The #Nurses on Boards Coalition includes the following organizations:
AARP
American Academy of Nursing
American Association for Men in Nursing
American Association of Colleges of Nursing
American Association of Nurse #Anesthetists
American Association of #Nurse 3Practitioners
American Nurses Association

American Organization of Nurse Executives

Association of Public Health Nurses
